Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to all our visitors who celebrate.  We made this bunting using our pre cut bunting triangles (which we snipped into as in the rag rug in our tutorials section and washed to get the ruffled edges) and added our pre cut applique letters, which we ironed on and finished with a top stitch.  All the triangles were put together using our specialist bunting tape – click here to view in store 🙂

She Sews Downloadable Patterns Now Available!

We are proud to announce the arrival of a new designer to our store, with patterns that can be bought ‘hard copy’ and sent to you by post, or which can be downloaded, saving you money and giving you instant access to the pattern.

The first pattern to be released is for pumpkins, there are lots of free patterns on the internet for pumpkins which use thread on the outside of the pumpkin to make the bumpy shape, but this one creates those ridges within the sewing process, hiding the thread and giving you a crisp finish.  You get the templates for all 3 sizes with detailed instructions for making the pumpkins as well as the applique leaves and ribbon rosettes.
